New Midpipe


hey guys i just installed my new mid pipe and i love it! the only problem is i have a leak on my right side manifold where it meets the midpipe. am i losing hp from this is, or is it just an annoying noise. i cant get to the bolts to really torque them on but they are on tight. should i take it to a shop? thanks

you should try to fix it. depends how bad it is whether your losing hp, if the leak is big enough youll get a cel eventually

yeah you are probobly losing a little bit of HP from it....try unbolting it and making sure that it fits up perfect with the manifold

yeah it has a gasket but the way it fits up it needs a deep well socket and a swivel and because of that i really cant torque the bolts down. i dont know if GT's are like that or not.

i think it would be worth your time to take it to an exhaust shop maybe if theres no way for u to tighten em down enough. someone at a shop might know a lil trick to do to get it right
