thinking of nitrous
hey guys i own a 00 gt with just hollowed out cats and flowmasters and about close to 75k miles to it and i want to put a shot of nitrous what do you guys recommend to be on the safe side

I just ordered a kit myself and haven't gotten to use it yet, but i'd say a 75 shot and a tune. No matter how large you go you should always get a good tune for nitrous.

i betyou could go with a 100 shot but you do need to get a tune. you can expect about 80 hp and about well over 100 ft lbs tq maybe even 150 lbs. nitrous is great for torque production

i have a 100 shot and got a very effecient kit. I am getting 96 hp and 143 lbs tq out of it.

you dont have to but it would be very very wise too. if you put anything over a 75 shot on it, its crucial becasue you need to have some timing pulled so you dont hurt the motor!

The closest place around here that does a dynotune is higgins ford performance and they want like 800 to tune it.

have you contacted the VMP tuning guys on the board here, I know they sell SCT tuners, they're in FL close to orlando I think, they may be able to help you out. Thats who I plan on using when I get my nitrous installed.
