tire question

i notice alot of you stagger the size of tires on the front and back. This prevents being able to rotate them. I was going to but was advised it would be better not to even tho it does look awesome. My question is if i go with 18x10 bullitt rims on front and back, how will 285/35/18 look on all four rims and will it fit ok? But this will allow me to be able to rotate them. Any opinions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!

yeah dont go with the 10in rims up front.

go with a 17X9 and do 275s all around if you want to be able to rotate em. be careful though in snow/rain because the wider tires will make it easier to hydroplane

most people dont like the look of DDs up front. it makes the car look too (well to me)bulky. if you do a standard size 18X9 up front then 18X10.5 DD in rear it adds so much more of an agressive look to it, plus you get the oppurtunity to drop some 315 drag radials on it

oh and the smoking tires thing... it only hurts em in the long run really. ive done a few just having fun and learning the car and I havent noticed any real treadwear at all. just dont sit there and smoke em for 30 seconds and you should be fine

You can still "rotate" the tires left to right (it doesn't have the same effect as a full rotation though).

If you want 18 all around, I would go 18x9 up front with a 275 wide tire, and 18x10 out back with a 305 wide tire. That's what I'm gonna do and I think it looks great! If you would prefer 17's then go 17x9 up front with a 275 wide, and 17x10.5 out back with a 315 wide. What ever you do, don't go any wider then 275 up front. Like what was mentioned before, if you want to be able to fully rotate your tires, then go either 17x9 or 18x9 with no wider then a 275 tire. Any wider and you will regret it.
