Not helpful. Mine are not covered there I forgot the manufacturer Id know if I saw the name but they are Exact-Fit blades..They have an adapter already connected upon purchase which is supposed to slide and lock onto the fish hook of the wiper, but the fish hook, which is a 9mm adapter I think, bends slightly inward and its supposed to slide OVER the plastic lock-lip of the adapter on the blade but no matter how you angle it and try to slide it on, it will NOT go on. Anyone whos' actually replaced these please be the next to respond. There are no screws or tools involved I'll try to find a copy of the 'easy' instructions...

Either you've got the wrong ones or you're making it harder than it really is. Make sure you got it facing the right direction before putting it on. Line the hook from the end of your wiper up and angle the new blade pivot point at a little bit of a slant and then just rotate the new blade clockwise or to the right and it should slide right in.

No there the same exact ones from PepBoys that I had put on only a few months ago...In the catalogue their number is 20-1...they're the same. What I did, just to get thru the weekend and I dont recommend this, is put them on with the fish hook NOT fully encompasing the clip on the blade...it holds them steady at the two lowest speeds but Ill have the guy at Exxon reconnect them on Monday. Its cold out here now but even if it wasnt its almost impossible to get the hook around the entire wiper blade clip, I mean WHO designs garbage like this. As for my technique its really the only way to do it.. I mean just angling the clip so that you can squeeze it in and up inside the fish hook...theres no other way to do it I really dont know what I was looking for here I guess someone whos' had the same problem with these. I think Tricon makes the Exact fit regardless, I saw 16 people in PepBoys parking lot yesterday appearing to have the same problem.

you have to turb the blades upside down and slide onto the fish hook and then once its on, youll just roll the blade over end over end, thats how they worked on my car.

and calm your ass down, they are just trying to help you out

ok as shitty as most the stuff at pep boys is, the wiper blades your describing only have problems when you do something wrong. trust me, i work there, i know. people actually pay for us in service to install that shit, they always work unless you fucked up something. and no im not defending pepboys, i hate that place.

OConnor,

Just because your too much of a dumbass to install fucking wiper blades does not give you the right to tell people who have much more experience on this board to "shutup"! Maybe YOU need to "shutup" and listen to what they are telling you. It may not work the first time but to try and diganose something over the internet is VERY hard! You need a huge dose of humility and I think you owe HMUSN a HUGE apology for being so rude to him.
We understand your frustrated but we are here trying to help you! When you are rude NO ONE is going to want to help you so just fucking be patient and we'll try and get to the root of the problem which I'm sure falls into one of the following categories!

A) You're too dumb to figure out what you did wrong and since no one can diganose your stupidity over the internet it's just frustrating you that much more.

B) You're too dumb to figure out that the blades you bought are junk.

Do yourself and everyone else on this board a favor and have someone who knows what they're doing install them so that we don't have to hear your bullshit. I also suggest that you come back only when you have an attitude adjustment!

John

I was trying to help you.

Now I know that it is not appreciated from you I won't bother answering any more of your questions.

lemme get this straight. At the same time, 16 different people (mustang optional?) all purchased the same brand of windshield wiper and were all in the parking lot at the same time, trying to install the damn things?
