Watch any network tv station between the hours of 12am and 12n...I dont know the name of it but theres a chemical compound out there designed (and claiming) to fix rips, tears and stains in any leather from car seats to jackets. I know a lot of this stuff is H.S., but this looks like it works. I have a rip in mine actually that I wanted to find this stuff for...I was working on the battery and I sat in the car with a screwdriver in my back pocket...oops.

I am a master detailer in St. Louis. while you can have a tear in leather seats fixed, it will still be noticible by sight and feel, the spot will be hard and have an odd texture, your only option is to find an upholstery shop and have them replace the entire panel of the seat.

Yes.

A shop here in town replaces only the section that is ripped. This a common problem with F-bodies on the driver side left bolster. It was pretty in-expensive if I can recall. The price would vary because he could just match the color with whatever he had(nalgahide, lambskin, leather, etc.) or he would order the exact material to match.
