Help Installing New Intake

I just bought the C&L intake package and they had the tru-flow intake plenum on backorder. I went ahead and intalled the professional products throttle-body, C&L inlet tube, MAF sensor and air filter without the plenum and ran into a small problem. My throttle cable is about a centimeter too long now and it seems like i put this thing in the wrong way. Could i have adjusted my cable without knowing it?

i was comparing the new one to the old one and the part where it locks into the proffesional products is about a centimegter closer to the pedal than the stock one is.... why on earth?

the cables on these cars have a lot of slack. a lot of people put a spacer on the cable to correct. i had the same issue, and thats all i did.

i'll prolly be able to race pretty soon. i would like to put that intake plenum on first. Oh and i figured out what was wrong.... professional products did a poor job machining my throttle body. when it was idling it was basically getting stuck closed. so in order to open it up it had to break free from the interior wall. What i did to correct this was i turned my idle screw a half a turn to 650 rpms and it was open enough to NOT get stuck.. i think i'm gonna call and have a chat with these people..
