Problems (Idleing) and Accelerating)

i'm having two problems.

1. when my 03 gt is idleing the rpms go up and down.

2. when accelerating i get a rattleing noise in my exhaust. could this be my off road x pipe?

any help would be nice

1) probably your tps (throttle position sensor)
2) could be a loose hanger on your exhaust

check your vaccum lines for holes, loose connections or even a collapsed line. any thing of that sort will cause odd idling but the car will still run ok had a similar problem a while back and it was a collapsed line

Have you done anything to it recently?

When you are accelerating is it just the exhaust that rattles or the whole car/engine shakes?

Is the check engine light on?

Definitely check all hoses under the hood and all connectors (sensors/coils).

it has a header-back exhaust

it is a rattleing sound from my exhaust.

no check engine light either.
