Alright (Nitrous Setup)
im really thinking about going ahead and buying a nitrous set up the only thing holding me back is i still owe four years on this car so i need something thats not going to break my motor. whats the highest shot i can run with out risking anything?? or would i be better off spending my money else where and waiting?

A 75 shot shouldn't be a problem, but one question though, what kind of set up is it? And what type of fuel are you using?

as long as you get the supporting stuff for it and dont spray like crazy a 100 shot shouldnt do any damage

A 100 shot wouldn't hurt anything with a good tune.
A 75 shot would really dissapoint you too... Not really worth the money/trouble.

Correct, with 93oct and with proper install and tuning it should not be a problem. Just don't spray like crazy; only do it for a few seconds.

I have nearly all the bolt ons possible with a 100 shot on my stock block. Ive had the set up for awile and have seen no problems, with 476 torque at tha wheels. With a good tune, a 100 shot would be perfectly safe and u can spray all you want... I do

That guy at the gas station really has you pissed! Don't do anything to blow your motor up, there is always someone faster no matter what you do.That being said, just get a simple NX 100 shot single nozzle kit. Change your plugs, throw on a fuel pressure safety switch (just assuming you have the stock fuel pump still), wide open throttle switch, and a window switch, and you will be good in tha hood!

$1,500 will get you a very nice and very complete nitrous kit with all the goodies. Plus a little extra left over for a proper tune. Some nice sticky tires wouldn't be a bad idea if you could scrape a couple hundred more together.

anytime you put nitrous on your car. you are taking a change of braking something. but that what we do to go faster.

This is very true, but so is adding boost via a charger/turbo. It's all in the tune and proper safety precautions.

i know what you are saying i s/c my car and dyno tune it to with the sct. i beleave in if you are going to do something do it right. in other word spend the money to do it right. but you can still blow it up. (but that just means you are driving it right)

for $1500 I would do heads/cams before the nitrous. Let me know, I'm selling a nice setup that will just bolt on to your motor and put you at over 300 RWHP on just motor, and still have money left for the nitrous...
