i am asking this for a friend he has a stock gt with more bucks than brains except for this thought he wants to see if he could buy a 5.4 from CHRISTMAS SALES EVENT and and put it in

Sure would, the 5.4 SOHC will drop right in with no modifications to the enegine harness, the 5.4 DOHC will be a tight squeeze but can be done... but since your friends car is a GT he will need to mod his engine harness a bit for the DOHC version, also hood clearence will be an issue but can be solved with an aftermarket hood like the Cobra R hood with a 3" cowl.

you can fit that right in "it will work" and he can make some nice hp with that. the 5.4 come in the lightning s/c and it is bad ass.
