Heads/Cams

I'll try to make this question quick and painless.

How much would cams run me? How much for an install?

How much would heads run? Install?

Is it best to do both at the same time and what kind of results would I see. Remember that it's a 4V.

heads = at least 1200
cams = 1000
new springs = 400
install = depends where you go= 500-1000
dyno tune = 300 give or take
so around 3500 id say for you

Definatly do both at the same time if you can afford it. Send your heads to fox lake and have them do the port and polish work and then they can custom grind you a set of cams to match. There stage 3 P&P is like $2300 add on the cams and you should be around $3500 don't know about the labor but...

for heads, and cam, you really should port your intake too, and you can get damn near 400RWHP. very good setup, but costly.

$800 to have nazman port your heads (guy knows his shit)
$950 for crower cams
$520 for crower springs/retainers

that puts you right at $2300 parts only, and your looking about 1000-1500 to have them installed.

add $300 if you want you intake ported too.
