Began Engine Removal
Hey guys,
I finally got started on my engine removal on my O2 Turbo GT. So far so good. I got the intake, the harness, and all the front accessories and hoses off in about 2 hours. Tomorrow I will tackle the headers, the starter, and the A/C compressor. I do however have a couple of questions. 1. I did not remove the refrigerant from the system. Is it possible to just unbolt and drop the a/c compressor or do i have to remove it? 2. What is the easiest way to keep my knuckles blood free, and get to the bellhousing bolts in the back. Those suckers are in there tight. I don't see how I could get a hand on the bottom, and theres not much room on the top either. I haven't taken a look yet, but is the converter unbolting pretty straight forward or is there a trick to it? That seems like most of the issues i have come across so far... I will try and get some pictures up and on here tomorrow night. Thanks again for all the help, Dan |
