MGW Shifter

i'd like to get a short throw shifter, and have researched brands pretty good to find i'd like an MGW. my question is. how hard is it to install? is it reasonable to think I can do it myself (im not really that mechanically inclined) or should I bring it somewhere. how much should it be to have it installed?

Totally easy! You can do with a socket set and a screwdriver!

look at your drivers side door.
a sticker will tell you what month your car was made on it.

and you mean t45 or t3650

a t56 is a six speed

8mm, 13mm sockets, ratchet, 6" extention, scraper.

easy as pie, comes with very detailed instructions.

Yes its easy, just remember the stock shifter WILL come off no matter how many times you tell yourself it wont, like I did. By far my favorite mod so far.
