Ya can get away with as few as 80, depending on how much re-building they did in the rear end. if all the bearings and seals are new, 300 to 500 is about right.

i think its really up to you.. the guy that did mine said it was good to go when i got it just a few heat cycles and it will be ok.. ive been beating on mine since i got it back no problems yet with 100miles on them.. well i take that back i took it easy for maybe 40miles.. but mine has new bearings and seals.. mattstang said the guy that did his said just not to do any hard launches on it.. hell i dont even have to try and launch cause mine spins 315/35/17's just by tappin the gas alittle.. so i know she won't hook up with these shitty tires anyway

I watched a install on speedtv and they said its not about miles its about heat cycles, drive around then let it cool, than drive around and let it cool, just repeat that and you should be good.

exactly heat cycles allow the gears to mesh properly. And before they are meshed properly, a hard launch and do some carnage!
