GUYS need help with my DabloSport Predator tuner.
Reason, im selling it, but keeping the car.

The question is, how can i unlock the predator or un-marry the tuner?

Now there's a good reason for my question because no one EVER specifies what do to..


they just say "restore the original tune or uninstall the tune" but those are not predator options, except:

1. Restore HP tune or

2. Original Backup.



But they're very similar options!!


and the reason for such a specific question, is because the car has 3.73 gears and the ONLY modification done with the predator was to set it so the computer knows it has 3.73's.

So how can i keep those settings on the car but unlock the predator from the car?? no.. NOT the tune, i dont want HP gains or Torque, just keep the modified 3.73 settings but unlock the tuner.




Is it possible? or do i have to just Install the "Original Backup" one instead of the "Restore HP tune" or?

The only option you have is all or nothing. Sorry to dissapoint you. but the only way to use it on another car is to restore original backup. This will erase your stock tune off the predator thus allowing it to be put on another car. The only thing you can do to another car with the tuner on your car is check and erase trouble codes, and I think you can see live data. You cannot change any settings without the tuner "married" to that car.
