Ok well i have the opportunity to get some amazing heads and cams that'll put me around 315-320rwhp range with some tuning. I'm able to get them for a steal. and the tuning + install is pretty reasonable too. I'd add a 100 shot later.

Or shoot for a KB 2.1L mongoose kit. remember, thats like $6k and i dont have that and wont for awhile. I dont think i'll ever have enough to forge, unless my car breaks, then i'll replace it with forged or just buy a new block.

I've already made my decision on what i'm doing, and i'm already working towards it and almost there. I just whan you guys .02

Put urself in my shoes, I'm 18, i have limited money, love my car more than anything, and wanna go fast. at the track and the street.

Do the cams and heads don't second guess yourself. You don't have the cash for the KB and if you can get the heads and cams for a good price then what is there to think about? Especially since you can't forge the internals.
