SLP Loudmouth 1 or 2?

is it slp loudmouth 1 or 2 that sounds bad on the 99-04 GTs? because my neighbor just came homw with an 03 GT and the exhaust is slp he just doesnt know what one and it doesnt sound good at all IMO. its not a very deep good sound idk how to explain it but it really doesnt sound good and has a popping sound every so often when its idleing. i know onw of them doesnt sound good, what one is it? just though i would ask so i know which one it is so i can tell him. im not gunna tell him i think it sounds bad since he just got it, that would be messed up, i just want to tell him which loudmmouth set up he has

anyway thanks for the help!

alot of people dont like the LM 1s because they are basically just for being loud. I hear the LM2s are where its at though for the 4.6's.

Im getting the Lm2s with my LT headers

I'd bet it's the LM1. The LM2 is really not that loud compared to most other aftermarket cat-backs. LM1 are also notorious for 'popping' sound because it uses a resonator rather than a traditional muffler.

I have the SLP LM1. I don't have problems with popping, or anything. I can't understand why the LM1 get so much negative talk. Yes, they are loud. But they don't sound raspy. How do you make a V8 engine raspy? Magnflow tru x xpipe + SLP LM1= sick!!!!
I get nothing but compliments.
