all pump gas now has ethanol in it. ethanol is actually great stuff, if you have a place around your area that sells E85 ethanol its actually awesome, its above 100 actane, but the only problem is you have to use alot more of it than you do gasoline, which requires pumps, injectors, and tune.

it is good, its all done in percentages. the ethanol will actually fight any water that might get into the fuel system. using to much is hard on the fuel system and is why it is limited to how much can be ran.

Not to mention it will dry out your seals, Thats why the brand new ones have a tag on the back that says e85 ready. They use different seals in those motors. Alcohol dries out seals and that is the problems you will have with it.

the only problem with ethanol is it is sugar sugar doesn't burn and forms carbon deposit in your motor as well as it leaves residue on intakes if you have a fuel system that precedes it. the only thing you have to do to solve this is " clean out your fuel system and air induction system" i have pulled so many cars apart that simple cleanings would have saved them thousands. but that is the only down fall and i recommend cleaning out your motor anyway if you some how find fuel with out ethanol. feel free to pm me for help with cleaning prod

Ethanol was common in Nebraska when I lived there 20 years ago. I wasn't a big fan of ethanol. I don't think I got as good gas mileage with it and it seemed to cause my motorcycle to vapor lock. Will Seafoam sufficiently clean the fuel system?

sea foam is not the best. i prefer bg products the only way to affectively clean is with compressed air sprayers while the engine is running. "air induction and then through the schrader valve on the fuel rails". most lube shops have the equipment. if you need the products i can get them through my guy just let me know i can sell them at cost plus shipping. but only in low quantity's, it is not for sale in California ....this shit works but to do it you need a canister most shops have one so if you have a mech friend ... feel free to pm me if needed

well all you have to do is about once a year go get a fuel system cleaning at a shop most shops around here use gum out its about $100 for a 3 step
or you can go to wall mart and they have a 2 step for $20 and the differnce is with the 3 stage they actually swab out the tb with 2 stage is combustion and fuel system cleaning
