Tire Rub


will 315-35-17's rub the fender well on the rear of my 02 gt unless i roll the rear fenders?

that depends on your set up.
if your suspension
is stock they won't rub at all

you'll be fine with them.
Stiffen up your frame a bit as well.
sub frame connectors and such are always a good mod.

I spoke with James Klok, of Team Shinoda, about rolling the fender edges and his point is that because they are a spot welded double lip the rolling does not work very well, and suggests not to do it.

You really can't make that determination unless we know how wide the wheel is and the backspacing of the wheel. I assume you have a non stock wheel as the 315s wouldn't fit properly on the original 17"wheel.

it depends on the offset of your rims, some wont, some may.

nothing wrong with rolling them, most shops charge around 100 bucks, and it really comes out nice.

what wheel though? bunch of different wheels have different offset.

well the 17X10.5 03/04's will work, but you dont want any less backspacing that that really. i think most 17's for the mustangs may actually be pretty close to one another.
