I like SLP loudmouth 2s. The cost is going to depend on what brand you use and whether you do a full setup or not. It could be anywhere from 500-1000 dollars.

SLP Loudmouth are they all show (or in this case noise) or do they give you some go?
Most people tell me flowmasters but there has to be something else out there

All the different brands give you pretty much the same hp gains. It just depends on what sound you like. Try going on you tube and listen to the different setups.

Borla stingers if you a real nice sound. But it will break the bank. Magnapacks sound real nice. I am running mac. I realy like them. They don't all give you the same power by the way. Your straight thru stuff like magnaflow, borla, and slp are gonna give the best gains. Flowmaster is gonna bring up the rear on HP gains. Your best power gain will still always come from components infront of the cat back though. i.e. mid pipe and headers are gonna give you alot better gains and sound then just a cat back.

Doc's right too. It depends on the muffler type.

H-pipes make it deeper and x-pipes are a little raspier sometimes.

x pipes with straight through mufflers sound good, they really scream at wot. if you have a chambered muffler i would recomend a hpipe.

Yea... for the most part. My 4v with an x should sound a lot higher pitched than a 2v with an H but with mac set up it is very deep and screams on the top end. 9 times out of 10 the H will be deeper than the X. But if you want the quote unquote best of both worlds setup, then get the mac Prochamber mid pipe. You will love that thing guranteed. and it has a very unique and exotic tone to it.
