trans am down omfg

muahhahahahah....
beat a lt1 tonite in halls..
im comin back towards norris freeway and two guys in a trans am pull up next to me .. both of us are behind the lead cars at the red light. he revs a tad, and i rev back then they both look over and start giggling so we knew something was gona happen.. we start goin and his leader car turns off and hes got the shot but im stuck. he guns it past me ( guessing he threw it up in flyby gear) and then he turns off to get away but i jerked over and followed him.. so we made the block and got back out on the main drag. get to the redlight. damn hes lead car and i have to fall behind him bc of a van.. we both take off spinning and i stay on his ass the whole time until his kicks sideways and i let off haha.. then we see papaw in his white crown vic and both get scared and slow down. turns out its not a cop. well we fight all the lights through town then get to a nice straight away were side by side and i roll down and tell him 3 honks and he does it. his pass. is like okay .. they start honkin and im like wooah man slow it down. were goin like 70 so we slow down to 45 and i grab second gear. then the honks.. 1.....2......3...brrrrrrrrrrrrrr and we're off. side by side then i hit third and start barely pulling him.. i get my rear end of the car to his nose of his hood and let off. we catch a red light and no cars around. i was thinking omg its so perfect i cant beleive this is happening. he rolls down and says ' damn is that stock?' and im like yeah.. hes like it dont sound stock it sounds awesome and im like well its got weld in bassani mufflers. hes like well it sounds good. light turns green and we both spin through first not sure about him but i hit second and it kicks sideways so i feather it through second but it kept spinning. hit third and spun it about two rotations and began the pulling again . same case i pulled out on him same as before. i get a wave and they bow up and take the median turn around and i pass them and take the next one and tryed to find them again but never did see them.
it was a green trans am pretty sure knox co. tags. two younger guys. definatly under 25. very cool about the loss though.

well honestly a termi woulda been amazing but i think i can deal with the mach. i can sc it and bolt on shit and beat 80% of the crap around here and the odds of racing a termi are slim around here

Its a great feeling to beat a trans am/camaro/firebird/any fbody lol.

I'm to the point where i can hang with a stock LS1 and depending on the driver, beat one... but barely.

The absolute best race i've even had was at the strip, me vs. a bolt on 1996 vette. I beat him by .15 seconds! I was pissing, ejaculating, shitting, and crying all at the same time! it was a great night lol

i have a race set up this saturday with a legit cobra. the guys on hpt didnt beleive the cobra i raced was real so they offered me a race with one that they know is stock and legit. so ill do that saturday.

also ive set up a race for sometime with my buddy's ls1 98 vette. so we'll see wher it goes. btw both cars are manual tranny.

im figuring on barely beatin the cobra since the one i raced was more than likely faker. and the vette will beat me but not by much. hes already complained about wheel hop from the irs. so.. we'll just see. cant wait.

J/k, it's fun to beat anything.

A stock LT1 should be neck and neck with a 99-04 GT. So as others have said, start look for some LS1's. Once you lose to a few, it will inspire you to build. That's where the fun begins.

He was probably modded. There are some pretty quick LT1 cars with just bolt-ons and maybe a mild cam that hang pretty good.
