from what I hear the easiest way is to drop the K memeber if possible through a hydraulic lift

Im having to pull the engine on mine, but it IS a GT. It cant be TOO much different

Drop the K member and lift the motor, not fun but makes th install go easy'er, and while your at it repelace the K member and lose 60lbs off the front end. Plan a whole day to do both don't rush the job and get stage 8 header bolts (Jegs) as they won't babk off.

DO both, it wont be fun at all, use good gaskets and locking bolts so you dont have to touch it again, plan a weekend, not a day, trust me.

drop the K member, ive done about 10 sets, and i see no other way. i also use a engine cradle, and lower the engine down a good bit, makes it a little easier to get to some of the bolts.

yup, tubular K member is the only way to go while its out. a UPR K member kit with the A arms, and coil overs reduce a hair over 65LBS

Might I suggest a QA1 K-member... incase your not wanting a Coil-over! Works with factory style A-arms... and still takes a load off!

Cheers
