Nitrous Arrived Today

My kit came in today! I'm planning on trying to install it tomorow and Sunday, I'll post up some pics as soon as I can. I'll be needing a tune and then I will post up numbers. Then it's track time

Hey, do you need a purge solenoid??? I have an extra (brand new) one from NX that I don't need and would be willing to sell it.

Nah, I ordered one with the kit. all I reall need now is a window switch. I think whoever I choose to do the tune on it will be able to take care of that.

deffinanatly try and get a vid of the dyno. Not sure what shop i'm gonna use yet though, I want to make it out to the VMP tuning guys shop and check them out before I make any final decisions on it, I already went to the Lamotta performance shop. It's a lot closer to me and the guys there seemed pretty knowlegable about tuning my car, anybody heard anything from the VMP guys, good or bad?

ran into a problem last night, I can't find the fitting that goes into the bottle for the feed line. Just the first set back so far....

Is it absolutely neccesary to run the nitrous feed line outside of the car? I think it would be fine to run through the cabin just under the carpet, maybe a safety issue?

Yeah but I don't have a garage, and I didn't really want to have to buy a jack and stands and then have to crawl around on the hot ass parking lot!

I got the bottle mounted. It took almost 2 hours and then the rain blew in on me so I gave up for the day.

A couple of quick questions.

1. Is this the place on the fuel rail where I need to attach the feed line to the fuel solenoid? and I am confused because on the installation video it said I would need to get a special fitting for this but it seems to me that once the bleeder valve is out the lines will fit right up. Any thoughts?

2. does this look like a good place to mount the solenoids, as far as a ground goes?

I believe that is where you put the feed line, though I am going on how a guy in my car group put it on his, so it could be anything between wrong and right. But the bottle loks good mounted there.

thanks. I still need to know if that is a good place to mount the solenoids. If so I can just run the grounds for each solenoid to the mounting pracket, and then attach the assembly to the peice shown in the picture. that picture is of an aluminum bracket the shaker assembly sits on top of.

Anybody got any idea of what the peice is that I supposedly need for the fuel rail hookup?
