mail order tune question

I just bought a sct livewire off craigslist for 300 bucks and played with it a little, car feels a lot better now. But I want to get a bamachips tune to really help my auto shift points. My mods are 4.10s and catback my question is my next mod will be a jlt rai, but I wont be able to get it for about month. If I order my tune now for that mod but dont have it on my car do you think it could cause any problems. thanks

Do you have a functional ram air system on your car? If not I would strongly suggest getting a cold air intake instead of the ram air intake. I assume you do but you never know who you're talking to. With that being said the intake won't cause any problems at all unless the tune is set up too rich or lean in the first place. The intake doesn't make a big enough difference to cause a problem. If you want better performance for about the same money I'd suggest getting an offroad x or h pipe.

that depends on your tuner man.
a JLT is a great intake but I honestly would get the tune without it and just order the tune with it later on.
I don't know about bamachips but my tuner will retweek your tune for free for 2 years.
