Busted passenger side mirror

Some dumb@ss truck clipped my passenger side mirror and broke it!

I was stuck in traffic and he decided to try and get around everyone by going down the parking lane. Unfortunately, when he hit my mirror I was boxed in so I couldn't chase him since he just sped away!

I found a mirror on E-bay for $44 but before it gets here I wanted to find out how I remove and replace the mirror! Can anyone give me a step by step?

Thanks!

John

if im not mistaken you pop the triangle piece out on the inside of the door and there should be three nuts holding the mirror on and just unclip the power wires. should be that easy

Do the above but you may have to remove the door panel to unhook the electric connector for the power mirror.

No need to remove the door panel. the electrical connector is fully and easily accessed after the door switch panel has been removed and unplugged.

i had to do this to my moms car a few weeks ago
pop the speaker cover off, take the 3 bolts off for the mirror, take the handle/switch panel out, unscrew (2) the cover so you can take the handle off, just makes it easier. then unclip the mirror plug inbetween the mirror and the handle opening, and pop the clip out, and repeat the process.

yes but the red clip was a pain and 3/4 for me to get out. i dont have small azn fingers and im assuming alot of you dont, so it makes it easier getting it out from the handle side instead of the top
