Rear End Problem

Hello,
I have a 1999 stang with a winding noise in the rear. A mechanic said it sound like diferential or gear problem and would need to be checked. Any ideas?
If the gears need to be replace what combo should I purchase that will increase my low-end without loosing my high?

you can go with a 373 or a 410 depending on what fuel economy you want to have afterwords. But yeah definately get it checked out.

yeah it sounds if it is your bearings and seals or even your t-lok taking a crap on you. If you are gonna replace your gears i would go with 4.10's, make sure you get all new bearing and seals, and you can even get a t-lok rebuild kit for really cheap and get that done also.
