Valve Train Noise?


i got 02 gt 2v geting nois from the top end as if the valvs or timing is off
runs fine at 1500 rpm or greater but at idol the motor is jumpin round like its got a problem and the car has 51000 miles on it is there a set time for valve ajustment? or somthing..... help please

do you havea timing adjuster on it. Steeda makes a good one, other than that I don't know, you iac valve could be getting clogged up.

your iac would have nothing todo with valve train noise. im not an expert at it but if it sounds like something is loose or knocking around in there, you might wanna pull the covers and see if there is anything that has come loose and may have a little play in it thats no supposed to be there

yeh it just sounds like its out of ajustment or something and is running like has bad gass during idol or maybe sounds like its detinating a little
i have no timming ajuster other than the hand held tuner but was not doing it befor only now ...yikes
