Need Help With Handling

hey guys wats up , im new to this forum i own a 03 gt

im tired of the way my car handles, this happened since i hit a curb in JAN with both right side tires, sinice then i bought new rims, tires, inner and outer tire rides, aligned the car about 4 times in different places, aligment wise they tell me every thing is perfect, handleing has gotten much better but not wat it was b4 the lil accident, i brought this up to one of my friends today, he mentioned that my sway bars might be broken becuase it sounds like i have "BODY ROLL", my front end feels sord of springy, wobblely, floating up in the air, when i hit a hit those dips or bumps in the freeway it moves alot or even when i down shift hard for a take off, it causes me to over steer and under steer at times, some times it feels heavery that usual in turns some times really light its driving me nutz.

so my question is could this be caused by broker sway bays / body braces ?
if so were exactly are they located in the car, and what do you guys recomend i buy? brands? sizes??

any other sugestions what maybe causing this behavior on the car?

yeah i know ill stop hitting curbz, it was only once!! :-(

First check your sway bar. if that is fine you may wan to consider some frame stiffeners such as: sub-frame connectors are great for rigidity and should help with some of that body roll. also you may need to upgrade your suspension.

lower it for one and then get a top mount sway bar. You might one to check the sway bar under the engine. You asked where it was located, you can't miss it.

lowering it and replacing the OE struts will do wonders for the front suspension. i would doubt your swaybar is broken, but here is a good site on learning about your suspension components and locations:

beautiful stang! would think if you are still running the OE struts and shocks the lowering maybe caused them to wear out faster, mine went before i even lowered it.... would look into getting an aftermarket set... i am partial to bilstein and tokico's but there are plenty of options out there. would do a bounce test on the front end, push down on the front/hood of your stang and see if the front end bounces or if it is firm and returns to it's resting position rather quickly.

still thinking your "floatyness" is coming from the struts and shocks, but since yours is dropped 2 inches up front i would assume the previous owner installed caster/camber plates or the places you took it too wouldn't be able to set the propper caster and camber settings for your alignment. do you know what the shops used as the alignment settings, it should be on their printouts (caster/camber/toe). also you should be able to look at the struts and shocks to tell what was replaced, the OE one's are black what color are yours? what happend on the bounce test?

how hard did you hit the curb....if you had to replace 2 rims and tires it must have been pretty hard... have you had a shop look and make sure nothing was bent? with the car on stands look at both side and see if every thing looks the same

i did the test, and car seems nice and stiff, it goes right back were it was, as for how hard i hit? it was pretty hard i popped both tires on the right side, i put all 4 new tires on the rims, the handleing was screwed up really bad their so i decided to get new tires and rims, and took it to a i diff shop, it got much better but still not were it was.....as for the color of the struts n shocks let me get back at you on that one

edit: oh and and the all 3 shops told me their was nothing bent on the car
