Couple Of Questions
Why would I get a timing adjuster, is it something I could play with myself or would I have to take it to a shop.

As far as the timing adjuster, I think thats something a shop would have more use for than you. and the aulminum drive shaft is lighter, therefore decreasing the amount of weight the engine has to move to get the power to the wheels. Kinda like getting and electric fan, won't neccesarily make your engine more powerful, but rather free up untapped horsepower.
something like that. |

so it would be worth it to have an aluminum driveshaft? and what if any horsepower could be gotten out of playing with the timing.

The drive shaft would be worth it. The timing adjuster, I think you could just get a programmer for that and adjust it through there, that way you could have a readout for where you are on your timing settings.

Yea, go the programmer route instead.... does what the timing adjuster does, only without the install and it tweaks your fuel curves and can adjust for gear changes, etc.

yeah you get 1 thing that does 50 different things over the one thing that does one thing

diveshaft will help but i wouldnt do it unless i was putting down a lot of power and it was a possibilty i could break it. but then again it will lighten things up a tad so you an do it if youve got the cash
