Ok well my Findaza Aluminium flywheel came in the mail today its only weighs 13 pounds

. I would like for some of the plp who have Aluminium flywheels on there cars is thre anything I should do when I install it. like new bolts and also what is the Torque of the bolts.

I'll get some pics in alittle while.

torque in 55 flbs get ARP bolts (jegs)

make sure you clean it off extremely well before you put it in, and once its bolted down, clean it extremely well again

+1 on the brake clean, thats what i use, just make sure you wipe it off really well to, brake clean is some powerful stuff, and everything that overspray from brake clean couldve gotten on

ok will do i'll make sure that SOB is clean.Sorry i havent got picsa up yet having trouble with my camra.

Also is there any myths about these Aluminium flywheels i should know or worry about any do's or donts.

I understand i will have to prolly learn how to drive my car again because of the loss of rotating mass at least just in city driving.

Also is this going to be ok with my aluminium drive driveshaft.

when i installed mine i had to heat it up on bbq grill to expand it so it would fit on the crank,,,,it is a verry tight fit

so should i try heating it up first then install it.
