Diablosport Predator

so what are your opinions on this tuner?

Im considering just getting a tuner instead of the MILs and O2 sensor extensions(correct me if Ill still need them please) and just get a better benefit from the headers and o/r x.

Are they by any chance difficult to program?

I personally like them.... It all depends on what your local tuner specializes in. That should help you decide which one to go with.

well, to my knowledge, there arent any. theres an exhaust shop, a few body shops, and dealerships in my town. the closest dyno is between 120-200 miles away

Eventually the car will end up making that trip if you own it long enough. You should call them and see what they recommend.

so to be able to tune a tuner I have to take it to a dyno shop? i thought they came with a few preset tunes for a few goodies here and there, but not a custom tune

Canned tunes are no where near as effective as a dyno tune. A dyno tune will be one of the best mods you do to your car.

Correct they do come with a few tunes..... But once you start modding the car. It will start running on the lean side. So unless you want to throw money into a wideband, datalogging equipment and take a crash course on tuning a car you should take it to them for a tune.

ALl im trying to do is find a good way to save a little money, but also gain something that can benefit me down the road

you will still need O2 extentions. jut get them and the MILS and when you can get a tuner and take it to get a custom tune, canned tunes are no good really

Why do that just buy the tuner first and save a few bucks..... then if the o2 sensors have to be extended just cut and solder more wire on them.

you shold not lengthen O2 sensor wires becuase of how they oporate.

why not spend a few bucks and do it right?

Ok so your saying a soldered connection is worse than a plug in extension, correct?

you bring up an interesting point, one that completely slipped my mind.

i still would never solder a O2 sensor wire.

No you will be running lean..... The rear o2's (what the MILs are for) are only there to make sure the cats are working correctly. They do not effect the way the vehicle runs.
