Rear Bumper


okay so i love the 03-04 cobra bumper and overall rear it looks mean as all hell, so the next question is something i was having trouble with, if id purchase a 03-04 cobra rear bumper, how would i go about getting the cobra taking out of it and maybe getting Mach or mach 1 put in, anyone know of anyone that could do this, and where are they located thanks

this has been brought up before... as far as i know filling in the
cobra with bondo, fiberglass and other fillers tinds to crack....
sorry man.

+1 thats why i didnt get that rear bumper while it was in the body shop

well my friend can do the work but finging the letters is what im having trouble with, even if i use the stock bumper and take mustang out and put mach 1 in it would be sweet

you can custome make them out of sheet vinel. its pretty cheep stuff.
you can get it at a local sign shop.

alright, im gonna think this one over, ill prob buy another bumper to do it on so mine doesnt come out looking like garbage, plus id like to keep all the parts so i can put all the stock parts back on

yes you can use vinyl but the problem is filling in the letters on the existing bumper, i thought about this with my car as well. but because its flexible plastic, nothing will fill in those letters and stay in.

you can get them filled, i have seen plenty of them done on svtp and they have no problems whatsoever, you just have to get it done right.
