Full exhaust-$1200
JLT cai- $230
Accufab TB- $570
Pulley-$80
Plus your tune

I think youll be at 550, for under $2500.

it is quite possible the new stiegemeier stage 5 port will do that. the stage 4's were making up to 530RWHP, and the 5 is suppost to make even more.

$2500 wouldnt do it though, but it would be a start.

you would need:

Catback
midpipe
headers
intake
heat exchanger
upper pulley
lower pulley
idlers
KB BAP
60LBS injectors
stage 5 ported eaton
SCT Xcal 2 or 3
tune

that is going to make the power, but is goign to be way more than $2500. also once you do that your going to need a clutch pretty soon the stocker is only going to take that for so long.

to get to the 550RWHP mark i would do the following mods in the following order.

i would take the $2500 and buy the first group of mods

$350 used catback
$500 used longtube headers, and X pipe
$150 JLT RAI
$265 new billetflow 4 peice idler set
$150 new billetflow upper pulley 9i would buy a 2.93, anything smaller you will have to worry about belt slip
$50 belt
$350 new 4LBS lower pulley kit this and the 2.93 will put you at about 16PSI whhcih is at the top of the eatons efficiendy
$290 LFP heat exchanger
$200 used SCT BA2400 MAF (chances are the stock MAF will peg)
$400 SCT Xcal 3 new with a mail order tune

that is a about $2700. that will give you about 460-490RWHP, and anywhere from 500-550RWTQ.

from there i would save for the next group of mods which would be

$400-700 throttle body and plenum either accufab, or billetflow. you can find new or used, billetflow is the best
$375 60 LBS injectors and harnesses
$300 KB BAP with harnes upgrade
$700 stage 5 port
$300 custom dyno tune

that is another $2000-2300

that will put you damn close to your 550RWHP mark.

regardless whether you go ported eaton, or twinscrew though, you still need all those supporting mods injectors, BAP, MAF, HE, idlers, tune, ect. and the twinscrew will also run you $2000-3500 for a used blower depending what you go with, instead of the $700 for the ported blower.

the most he would see with that is 575RWHP MAX, and he would still need a heat exchanger, and a MAF.

split that money up and do a pulley swap, heat exhanger, exhaust, a bolt on or two & a tune. Should put you close to 480ish at the wheels... which i realize i alot less than you wanted BUT then put the rest to a solid axle swap b/c that IRS wont last long with the way you wanna drive it

for the swap you are looking at:
-full rear end (maybe 31 spline carrier and axles)
-might as well stick gears in it unless you find a rear with some already in it
-new catback
-new springs & shocks
-uppers & lowers (I still have my stockers laying around, plus my shocks)
-whatever else I forgot

Or you could just find a cobra with the swap already done and save the time & trouble

if you know how to set gears, you can do the swap by yourself... its fairly easy. 4 bolts and the whole IRS drops out. Your ABS light will stay on though b/c you won't have the ABS rings for the sensors to read

well im finding one with alot of mods done already..i found one for 19,000 with whole solid rear swap and mods..then i found one that has 495hp and 554tq and he wants 20,500 but obo..so i might just find one with a full exhaust hopefully and maybe ported heads..im not going to buy no stock cobra though for sure cuz they are going around 25,000 for some reason..and as for the rear end..i have it on my gt remember..it has 3.73s in it already..i will get upper and lower control arms to..

there is nothing wrong with the IRS, it just needs to be worked on a little, and driven with common sense.

and the ABS sensors are no problem, you jsut have ABS rings pressed on the new axles, and get the GT ABS sensors and wires. costs a whole extra $100 to do all that

no sense in having the heads ported. there wouldnt be enough power to benefit from all the work it is until you have full bolt ons, full supporting mods and a twin screw. and even then the heads dont need to be worried about until you get a built bottom end. which most people never need, because it coems built from ford.

no need to do much that that tranny either, it will withstand alot, and there not much you can do to it.

all that needs to be done is when you do a clutch upgrade to a 26 spline input shaft so you can guarantee that weak 10 spline will never snap.

pretty easy mod, jsut pull the front cover of the trans, and it takes a few times getting the shims right with your backlash guage, and your done, and have a tranny that will holld 1000RWHP pretty much.

it still needs a couple things to finish it up, but im looking for at 620-640RWHP pump gas 660ish pump gas + torco and more aggressive tune, and hopefully near 700RWHp with high boost, and race gas.

I'd say you are wasting your time shooting for 550 with the stock heaton unless you add a nice dose of giggle gas. I think it may be done on boost alone, but not for $2500.
