Question about X3 tuner

I have gears going in tuesday and already have an x3 to flash the computer with. When I ordered it they ask what gear ratio you run and I said 4.10's. When I put the tune in the car do I still have to go back through the menu to change gear ratio or does the canned tune already adjust for that gear size. Second question, since it is a canned tune, when I add a cai is the tune still ok or do i need a costum tune? The car is basically stock except for exhaust. Thanks in advance.

You should always check the fuel trims to see how close the tune is. If they are + - 7% you should be ok. If you told your tuner 4.10 then it should be set on 4.10 without you changing anything. More info here.
