DSS lvl 5s - inside please

We are currently rebuilding the IRS and are installing the lvl 5s.
The new ARP racing studs on the custom hubs are longer than the OEM studs and stick out much further. The covered lug nuts are not deep enough to fit over the new studs.
(BTW-have FR500 wheels).
What did you do???
Cut off new studs?
Use open lug nuts?
Need help/advice real soon cause I have to get the car off the lift.
TIA,
Bruno.....

i just used the stock lugnuts, and ran them on, the cap is very very thin and will push out no problem, and look fine.

i didnt see any reason for buy any new lugnuts.

Yeah that works to but it looks ghetto. Stock lugnuts already have a problem with the covers popping off.....

i havnt had the covers pop off on any of the sets ive intalled. i just intalles another set in a friends 99 cobra, and converted to 31 spline diff, and everything the other night.

i think they still look better than regular open ended lugnuts.

friends always ask me why my wheelstuds are so long, they ask if its a race car or something, and i just explain that its your every day mustang.
