Front mount intercooler for vortech sc?

Are there any good front mount intercooler kits for a vortech supercharger? If you know please send me a link.

Any 03/04 Cobra will work, you will have to go to the dealership and get the intercooler brackets from a 03.. Lightning Force Performace makes a good one.

cobras are water cooled, i think he's talking about a front mount air-air intercooler.. right?

I just bought a kit off ebay for like $200 and all you have to do is cut some of the pipes, drill some holes, cut a bigger hole where the intake goes and buy some brackets to mount it. Here's the link: eBay Motors: 31x12x4 INTERCOOLER DSM SUPRA Mustang + 3" PIPING KIT (item 190188781934 end time Feb-06-08 19:59:36 PST)

the paxton air to air intercooler setup is pretty much a direct bolt on swap for a vortech. all you have to do is unbolt the SC turn it down, bolt it back up, theres 2 pipe you have to trim a little, and theres 2 $40 couplers you need.

I built one similar to this for 400 after shipping, including the blow offs. But if this would have been available when I built mine I would have purchased it.

a friend of mine bought the DIY front mount kit, and it was a POS, required ALOT of pipeing work, and the pipe was not a very good quality nor was the IC.

all in all since he had to pay a shop to bend alot of pipes it cost him alot more than the paxton would have.

That other kit is basically the same as the one I got off ebay. I just installed it and haven't had a chance to see how well it works. I had to cut some pipes and I'll get it dyno tuned soon. I didn't have to bend any pipes but I cut some. I'll post some pics soon.

Your're probably using the vortech after cooler with an upgraded 03 cobra heat exchanger. I think he wants air to air.

The paxton is a front mount but it will cost you 3 times more

You probanly did something close to what I did. The other one I listed has bead rolled pipes is why I like it more.

I have no idea how much boost you will be running but I hope you have good T-bolt clamps and they are tight.

My Ebay IC.

The kit came with t-bolt clamps and pipe has rolled edges. Unfortunately I didn't have enough t-bolt clamps for all of the pipe so I will probably end up have to get more. I will be running the stock pulley on it more than likely.
