01' cobra for $15k... lookin for a good cai

Hey guys i'm about to buy a 01' cobra over here in bahrain for $15k... its only got 36,000 miles on it..garage kept.. just drove it today and fell in love...the thing is so damn smooth! so much power too.. so much more than my 6er... It's got a hurst short shifter, and magnaflow cat back... and 17 in chrome cobra r rims.. but as soon as i buy it i'm getting a CAI for it.. and I wanna know what you cobra people have as CAI's and which one is the best power gainer(even though they don't give that much i'll take a little more!!LOL)... well let me know!!

i've had mine for about 3 months... it had 22,000 miles and i paid 18,500...Full exhaust, intake, dyno tune, and a lot of suspension work...sounds like you are getting a good deal on yours with the mods on it... i havent had anything wrong with mine except my 3rd gear whines pretty loud... i've talked to people and they've said thats normal and even the original owner said its done it ever since he bought it and even had warranty look at it...these cars run stout and dont have many problem from what i've heard and experienced...SVT vehicles are built very well... you should get it

hmmmm 15k seems like a bit much for a 01 Cobra......

You could get an 03-04 mach 1 for 17-18........

But JLT is The Best when it Comes to CAI's

i looked on kbb and its worth about $18k so i think i'm getting a deal.. and the only reason this guy is selling the car is b/c he can't afford the gas and insurance back in the states and he's getting stationed back in the states in 5 months so he wants to get rid of it b4 he leaves!

and yes i have a turbonator on my car..it sounds rediculous but it gives me a few more miles to the gallon of gas/mile! laugh all u want!!lol

on a serious note.. jlt is consistently rated highly because of how its made vs alot of competitors who like to use shiny metal tubing to sell the product.. kinda hard to have a good cold air intake when what it's made out of is a HEAT CONDUCTOR.. lol.. good luck man

on a side note..

I don't know Where You are but Here That Cobra is only Valued @ $13,545 (I tend To find KBB to be overpriced most of the time)

i think it is a fair deal i had to pay 22 thou for my gt to get it just the way i want it( lincoln nebraska sucks for car prices), and mustangs r at the top of them all just buy it if you like it and dont look back over a few years you wont notice the price in the payment so who cares

15k is not too much, buy it and watch all the typical 2v envy. I have a bbk cai looks good

I paid about that with more miles(car in mint condition) location has a lot to do with it
