brake issue again


new brake line and new cailper and front pass. side tire still locking up after a few mins of driving and it gets hot and start smoking? any ideas what it could be

I am having the same problem on front driver side.

abs problem. check the abs sensors and rings.

I put new brake pads on front.the driver side started sticking got hot ..i take it all back apart to find out where the pads fit into the calipers..where binding ..cleaned them up with grinder or sand paper..now they work find..put a little grease on them..check yours out let me know if thats the problem...

and why does it only do it sometimes an then when its just sittin there ideling the brake pedal gets hard?

i know it pisses me off lol be driving all along an then od will kicked down a gear an then u make it go an then u start smelling the brake,if u let up it will stop u in its tracks,but if u keep goin it will soon release,an the steering wheel is shacking also when this happens

I assume your talking about the proportioning valve and no. The seperates the front from the back, so your driver side would be doing the same thing. Did you replace the cradle as well? If not make sure your caliper pins are well greased as well.

well i just talked to my mechanic an he said it was the brake booster,so it will be in the garadge for a couple of days.having it checked out,hope this fixes it.180 for the booster

the problem was the master cylinder, havent drove it in 4 weeks,dam its good to be back in my gt
