Spoiler Delete

Im thinking about removing the spoiler on my 03 Gt. I really like the looks of the early 90's spoiler-less notchbacks out there, and was wondering if theres any clean looking way of doing this. I dont want the 2-4-6 holes just sitting there ready to add water into my trunk onto my stereo. Is there some sort of pushpins or something of the sort i can get with the same color as my white paint to make it look clean? Any suggestions?

remove it. they look much better without the spoiler on it. youll need to get the holes filled in eventually. i think they are called fuzzy buttons or something like that, but they just ush into the hole. before you push them in, go get some of that dupli color stuff from wal mart and then color the heads of the fuzzy buttons. then push em in and be done with it for awhile.

i would recommend to try and swap trunk lids with a v6 mustang owner for free, this way the trunklid will be wingless and holeless... if you find one with the same color you don't even have to repaint

alot of v6's have spoilers too though? i'd say do wat drgnracin72 sed. theres another thing you can do but its a very long process and u need tools, materials and the perfect paint for ur car. i saw it on one of those garage car shows they have on spike tv

i think its called "duct" tape as opposed to "duck" tape. but ur absolutly right...duct tape is a dumb idea...try little peices of electric tape...if ur car is black...no one will notice and it wont ruin the paint!!

When I did mine before I swapped to a cobra spoiler, I used hilman nylon plugs from Lowes. Get the 5/16 and 3/8. Never had a problem with water in my trunk.
