My next Project??

I have been eye-balling one of these new blocks like a MF. I would really like to see what the mod motor would be capable of with 4V heads, healthy compression, a pair of bad ass bumpstaicks, and 351 cubes. I was thinking of building a 324 inch motor next, but this idea just want leave me alone. I'm thinking 500RWHP would be a good motor target and then throw that 300 shot at it. Can you say 1000+ Ft Lbs.??

NEW MMR 351R CAST IRON BLOCK
The Biggest Baddest Modular EVER, sporting 351 cubic inches/5.8 Liters with a factory stroke 5.4 Crankshaft, 360 degree cooling around cylinder heads eliminates hot spots and reduces detonation. ALL factory components bolt right on, accepts all heads (2V, 3V, and 4V)

its a pretty badass motor.

it and a good 4V setup may be what it will take to have a 500RWHP NA modular. would probably even go over that. NAZMAN i beleave made 473RWHP with a 5.0L stroker, his ported heads, cams, SS valve, the $4K FR500 intake, on pump gas, but thats as crazy as ive seen somebody get NA with the 4.6. i know theres a few 5.4L NA motor's out there, but i dont personally know them.

I am starting to look to the next project at the moment. Over the next 12-18 months, I hope to be able to get a NA mod motor well over the 500 mark, but I am thinking about 15G's are going to have to be under the hood. That, BTW, does not include any labor or tuning costs.

Hey, I just do what I can to ease my appetite. I have to say though, I have gained alot of press locally with this new motor. Any time somebody says "Damn, how much is that motor puttin' to the ground?", I say "about 350", they say "with nitrous? (puzzled look)", and then me again 'Nah, it's just motor ole boy"--------pause----- "but, how? a 4.6 won't do that". It has def. turned a few heads.

By that time, I'm sure this motor will be toast........I expect this motor to live trough maybe 2000-2500 lb.s of nitrou if I'm lucky and that's only a two month supply......
