air sensor


for you guys that have installed a vortech or another supercharger where did you install your air temp sensor. I know on my cai there was a spot drilled for it just installed there. was not sure now after installing the s/c. any opinions or suggestions. I was told its best to have up near the tb so it reads the air coming out of the s/c instead of before the s/c. thanks john

Yes, ALWAYS have the IAT see the actual blower temps. Then the ECU can pull timing if the charge gets too hot.
