Z3 Fenders

Okay, so who has experience with installing the Z3 Fiberglass fenders? After doing a little research, it seems like there are about 4 or 5 different advertised Z3 fenders with prices ranging from $60 a pair to $249 a pair. There appears to be two different styles. Which one is better or are they all the same? Quite a price disparity though. They all advertise direct bolt-on and perfect fitment. Some how, I doubt this because the next line is, requires professional body shop installation. Kind of contradictory...lol. So who out there has dealt with these Z3 fenders? Any input would be appreciated.

I actually wasn't looking for opinions on the appearance, but more in terms of the quality and the installation fitment. I mean, it's all subjective as far what determines a "Ricer". A Saleen kit? The wrong "Look" front & rear bumpers, body kits? I mean where does that opinion begin and end? To each is own...and I have asked lots of questions here in which I decided not to move forward on a particular mod.

As far as fitmint goes.. it's just a fender.
I would look for something not in the $60.00 range.
You tend to get what you pay for when it comes to car parts.

nobody knows about fitment with those things cause this is a mustang site not an import site. 95% of the people on this site don't want to put bmw fender styles on there car. So since you are fucking up a mustang i am going to go ahead and say buy the 60 dollar ones, might as well go all out and get the shittiest as possible.

I didn't realize that you had been elected to represent everyone here on this site. Others opinions have been of the ricer look and now yours is of the German opinion. So much for your elected repersentative status. And all this coming from a guy who owns a KIA.

the body shop i used to work at tried to install a set a while back. the fitment was crap and ended up just throwing them away. the mounts inside the door didnt line up at all, and they needed some work to get the body line just right.

yep all that from a guy who was given a kia spectra from his father in law so that he could park his real american muscle, ricer eating, non import looking ford fucking mustang in the garage so nothing would happen to it and i could make it a full fledged race car. But hey does anyone know where i can get some Z3 fenders for my kia lol

So you're a man of all Worlds now. Japan, Germany and even Korea...WOW! You better start campaigning for your position here as one of your subordinates just spoke up about having experience with these Z3 fenders.

sir yes sir, i forgot this site was filled with guys that own a mustang but wished they owned a import. Good luck with the fender install, hope it works out for ya. You get what you pay for so more than likely the most expensive one is going to fit the best.

I think the deal is most here are into drag racing (which is fine by me), but I prefer road racing and the Euro look is more suited for road racers like me. It has nothing to do with trying to emulate a Ricer.

for most kits, if done correctly and tastefully, the cars look good. the big thing with most cars are, it dont take much to make the looks go south. i like the z3 fenders myself, but i have seen too much on the car and make them look like crap.

Unbelievable... With all of the hideous (my view) hood and bumper combinations that people are putting on Mustangs, I'm really glad to know that the mod police have placed fendors off-limits.

I went to the site and looked at them. I don't think they look that bad. If you like them, go for it.

I hate the look of a cobra R wing but if I was ever fortunate enough to own that car I would learn to love it. I don't like big wings at all but some cars aren't too bad if it was factory. cars like the evo and sti might look kinda ricey with those wings but with at least 300hp they can back up the looks.
