I checked into Saleen superchargers before I bought my Procharger. They are super conservative and are expensive to upgrade. The kit comes with 30# injectors which have to be changed out if you upgrade to a 9# pulley. The installer recommended doing that up front because you have to pull the supercharger to change the injectors. You still have to pay for the 30# injectors though. Their suggestion was to sell them on e-Bay. The basic kit was competitively prices but the installation costs were much higher than the Procharger.
If you want a twin-screw supercharger, almost everyone recommends a Kenne Bell.

I have heard bad things about the roush and saleen. I have heard that they produce alot of heat. If your going to go twin screw then get ya a KB. Otherwise get a procharger.

Both are good units, the latest version of the SALEEN S/C is a twin screw design and capable of more HP than the ROUSH version.
Either will get you 350-400rwhp safely. In stock configuration they are plug and play .... one of the reasons they are warrantied. However, like any mustanger that wants more power, once you start throwing on pulleys and custom tunes you can quickly run into trouble. If you could find either used and complete ... they are no-brainer purchases, if you aren't going to buy a NEW kit. |

ive heard bad things aswell, i would buy a KB, much nicer blower, if you want to go positive displacement. the saleen and roushe i both beleave use eaton roots type blowers, and are very inefficient.

roushcharger and the saleen blower arent nearly the best ones on the market, and not really worth the money, your more just paying for the name with both, kennebell will make a mockery of both of those blowers, some people consider them to look worst then both of them, but i like the way they look, i wouldnt buy a roush or saleen supercharger, waste of money, the roushcharger gives 110 horse 85 lbs of torque, not worth the money, go with KB or whipple, when all else fails, add a whipple and hold on
