Mid Pipe
Hey Guys!
With my tax refund I'm getting a full exhaust, LT headers Mid-Pipe an Flowmaster cat back. I'm not sure which would sound better with the flows an H or an X pipe i've heard that h were better and I heard that X were better. What do you guys think? |

I have a catless H pipe and is MEAN the only cars that sound better in person that I have heard are 4V Machs and 99+ 4v cobra's!

not always true IMO, it all depends on which cat back you mate with the xpipe. but in this case with flows i agree that an h or prochamber would sound best. |

with flows an H will droan bad. ive been in several cars with H's, and flows, and they were all miserable. been in several with X's and flows, and no droan what so ever. was actually in my buddies with kooks LT's, O/R X, and flows last night, sounded mean as hell, and no droan.

not a fan of flowmaster catbacks, i say get original 40s! they rock and sound so much better then the delta flow 40s or any other muffler you'll get in there catback,i say 2.5 inch mac flowtubes to original 40s and the MAC exits, the flowmaster exits come with only 2.5 inch exits i beleive, which is fine in most cars but the holes in the rear bumper are to big for only 2.5 exits, well by that i mean the piping at 2.5 is good but the actuall tips are to small, and a x pipe will sound a hell of alot better with flows, but if your going flows, the prochamber is the way to IMO +100 on the prochamber, but once you get to high high horse, the prochamber will become restrictive, to much room for exhaust to bounce around and not get out quick enough
