AIT Sensor in GTs?


Do the 01-04 GTs have an Air Inlet Temp Sensor? If so were is it? Thanks

They are integrated into the MAFS on the 02's I know...

Its the outside gray wires on the MAF...

on some of the 01's they are not... they would be in the stock air box closest to the drivers side.

Ok well I have an 03 and I am getting a code saying that the AITS is faulty.

air intake sensor on the 01 gt is on the air intake between the maf and tb.

I know where the box is..

I meant that the actually sensor is located closer to the drivers side of the motor even though it's on the passengers side inside the air box.

It's in the MAF, that's why the newer ones have 6 wires...

Ok well if mine has it in the MAF and I am using a different MAF that doesnt have it in it is there any way to split the wires and run a sensor into the intake. I believe this could be the cause of some of my problems. Has anyone taken the MAF wires and split them to a sensor?
