not if you drive with common sense. ive driven in heavy rain with 26X11.50" slicks and not had a single problem, my current nitto's are completely bald now,a dn have driven in pouring down rain without 1 problem whatsoever.

driving like you have since or not hit a slick spot with some oil and water mix and see what happens.. just ask notchabovechevy how good driving with since in the rain and m/t slicks did him

ive never had a single problem, if you hit a spot with oil, or whatnot as long as your not on it, or trying to show off you will be fine. why would you think it would be different from any other tire with a good contact patch?

the nitto's evatuate plenty of water. in a heavy downpour sure you cant fly down the road, but you shouldnt anyway because of visibility. my nitto's do no worse in the rain than my goodyear eagle GS-D3's did, and they are supposed to be the best rain tire.
