Best shop in Chicago area for Gears/tune?

Hello Everyone. My first mustang and i looooove it! Just sold my 1976 stingray and my 94 z28 is just sitting in driveway now. Anyways i am starting to bolt on all my bolt ons and now i want to put in some 3:73s in the back. I know this is definitly not something i can do myself, but the 2 shops that i know of in my area want 7-800 bucks to gears! Is that way on the steep side or what? If anyone knows of shops in chicagoland area i could go to that would be great. Also i wanna do stage 1 cams... is it worth it? can i do cams myself?

A good price for gear install is around $300-$400. Im sorry but $800 bucks is ridiculous, shop around. Try to find some mustangs or f-body club around your area and see where they got their gears done.

Thanks man. Im hoping i can find a good price this weekend at the world of wheels show. But i figured 7-800 bucks was way to much. If anyone knows of any shops in chicagoland area that will do it for less price please let me know.
