need link to KB blower

alright i finally got the money i need for some mods ive posting qustions on what to get before but this is the real deal now
I want to ored a KB for my 03 2v 5-speed does the $5000 kit come with everything i need to make it all work if i install it myself and if i do well i need a tune immidiatly or can it wait a week or two im also about to order all this

x-pipe
LTs
diablochip
3.73
18x19 and 18x10 with nitto rubber
eibach lower springs
and steeda bumpster kit
please tell me what you think and thank you for your responses

You will want a tune asap.

well i atleast be able to drive to a tuning place after install to get it done and what intake well i need to put on it

kenne bells come with a tune to get you to the dyno shop. but no your car will not run with the charger on it without the tune.

i dont think it willl even start without a tune at all. but the complete kenne belle kits come with a canned tune that would work till you get the recommended dyno tune. i would reccomend getting a wideband o2 gauge. and the intake piping comes with the kit.

why does it say no custom tuning is required or recommended?

I would recommend it. Canned tune works to get to a dyno, but they will never be able to dial in all your mods perfectly.

it probably voids the warranty in the fine print or something, and they come with a tune. the 2.1 anyway. the 2.6 needs a tune

yea gotcha, I would want to get it tuned. although I just watched a race with a bolton, geared z28 and a KB GT and the z28 won

GT had the 1.7L but still, sad to me.

thats crazy but i just ordered mine right now from seanhylandmotorsports.com cant wait for it to get here does any have a ballpark estamate on how much a shop would charge to put it on and tune it?

didnt read all the responses, but if no1's said it yet...dont order the diablo chip. you wont need it since kb sends a chip tune.

kenne belle has reccomended installers that im sure will vary a bit. just call and ask

installs usually run about $800 - $900, then it would cost about $500 to actually tune the car.

oh ya and don't forget uncle sam's cut for all your fun.

when you order from KB,they ask for your mods. they will tune for things like speedo correction and exhaust. the tune/chip they send, although on the safe side,is just fine to run until you want to dyno tune. I think you will be happy with it.my car ran good with it,felt quite strong and did not "blow up". anybody that blew up a motor was not because of the KB tune.
