Hey guys new to the site
I know you guys have probably heard this question a billion times. So sorry to ask it again. I have a 2000 GT completely stock with an auto trans. Well I went to the strip for the frst time and was running 15.2 on all the runs. Is this where the car should about run? Or is it driver holding it back. |

what you need to do is find out what rpm the tires start to break loose while holding the brake. Then hold the rpms right below where it let loose and launch at it there. That and you are probrably spinning if you are just hitting the gas so i would say feather the gas also. you should be running 14.4's or so

i also agree low 14s should be what your car is doing. do exactly as ole tim (white99stang) said.
