Gonna Lower it

BUT with all the options out here which kit to go with is the question. What have you gone with and why?

And if I lower it will a 17x10 1/2 deep dish rub on the rear?

Maximum Motorsports builds some really good suspension.

As long as you don't drop your car to the ground your rims won't rub.

This will be my next step also, I think im going with h&r ss, MM c/c plates, and not sure if im doing S/S or not, its recommended with the super sports but I dont think its needed, I just want a lower look, dont really care about better launches. the super sports are the best stance IMO and most people opinions, but not great for the strip.

all depends on how low you go. i beleive you would be ok. 2" drop will push it, and come very close or rub when suspension travels. but it also has to do with tire size. youre best bet would to be runa 275 tire minimum...(youd be stretching the tire to its width limit).....id say 285/295/305 tires.

specs
275/40zr17
goodyear eagle f1
rim width range 9-11
optimum rim width 9.5
overall diameter 25.7" (stock is aprox 25.8")
overall section width (the problem spot) is 10.8" on a 9.5" rim

285/40zr17
goodyear eagle f1
rim width range 9.5-11
optimum rim width 10
overall diameter 26.1
overall section width (the problem spot) is 11.3" on a 10" rim

315/35zr17
goodyear eagle f1
rim width range 10.5-12.5
optimum rim width 11
overall diameter 25.7
overall section width (the problem spot) is 12.3" on a 11" rim

add .5" to section width if rim width is .5" larger than optimum.
subtract .5" from section width if rim width is .5" smaller than optimum.
add 1" to section width if rim width is 1" larger than optimum.

for more info....i used tirerack.com
just search a tire size is the easiest way and click on specs. if you scroll down far enough it shows all sizes offered by that compny in that style. for instance all goodyear eagle f1 tires. they suck imo....especilly on vettes, even though factory puts them on.
