charging

the alternator on the cobra took a shit. once every week i take the honda and i hook it up to the cobra with the cables and i let it sit there and charge the cobra battery for about 30 mins, sometimes longer. that allows me to drive the cobra around the neighborhood for about 5 mins so shes not just sitting at the house. neither batteries have gotten hot on me so far but do any of u know if theres anything bad about doing this? thanx in advance.

yeah thats strange cuz ive heard that before. theres a black termi at the ford dealership here in town and a guy told me something about it being a buy-back and there were six problems that the factory had to fix. ive been lucky with alternators i guess. ive had the car a lil over a year and this will be the first time replacing the alternator.
